Data protection notes

Dent|Natura takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. The aim of our data processing is only to collect, process or use the necessary personal data for meaningful and efficient use of our services. In the following, you can find out when data is stored when using our website and how we use it. We have undertaken technical and organisation measures, which ensure that the data protection rules are complied with. Our services are specifically governed by the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG).

Storage of data with access to your website

In conjunction with your access, data are stored on our servers for backup purposes, which may possible permit identification (for example, IP address, data, time and pages viewed). These are not used in a personalised form. In order to evaluate and continuously improve the quality of our website, we conduct statistical evaluations on the access to our website. This partially also occurs by using counting graphics in our website. However, the data acquired in this way are strictly anonymised and do not allow any conclusions to be drawn regarding the users’ personal data.

Use without disclosure of identity

Our website is basically usable without disclosing your identity. In the event of participation in one of our personalised services, you will be asked separately for the necessary data for processing the services. It is your free choice to participate in these services and enter the relevant data.

Disclosure of personal data to third parties

We generally do not disclose any personal data to third parties. In particular, no disclosure of data occurs to third parties for marketing purposes. However, in the event that you use our personalised services, it may be necessary to collect and disclosed personalised data to third parties for the purpose of implementing and processing the service. However, these data are only stored or disclosed to the extent necessary for order processing. For this, an explicit declaration of consent is required when filling out the relevant form. Third parties to whom your data are disclosed, within the context of order processing, shall also be bound by the legal stipulations for handling personal data. To the extent that we are legally required or judicially ordered to do so, we shall send data to the relevant offices that are entitled to receive information.

User profiles

Your data will never be used for creating user profiles – regardless of which type.

Use of cookies

A cookie is a text file that is either temporarily filed in the working memory of your computer (“session cookie”) or on your hard disk (“permanent cookie”). Cookies are not used in order to execute programs or load viruses onto your computer. Cookies are exclusively allocated to your computer and can only be read by a webserver of the domain that has created this cookie. We use “session cookies” in conjunction with guest books, forums and locked areas, in order to minimise the transfer of authentication information for security and convenience purposes. Session cookies are deleted after two hours of inactivity/when your browser is closed.

"Permanent" cookies are mainly used by us, e.g. in order to mark read/new articles for you accordingly. These are deleted as soon as you log on. The "permanent" cookies that we use are stored on your computer after leaving our website and are deleted 30 days after your last visit.

You have the opportunity to accept or reject cookies at any time. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can generally modify your browser setting, so that all cookies are rejected, if you wish. Alternatively, you can set your browser so you are warned each time a cookie is to be stored, so that you can selectively accept or reject cookies. However, if you decide to switch off cookies, it can reduce performance and have a noticeably negative effect when using our website. Please note the individual setting options of your browser.

Cancellation right

In the event that personal data are collected and used, this only occurs with your consent, the provision of which is a requirement for participating in the relevant services. You can cancel this consent at any time.

To the extent that our website contains links to the websites of other service providers, we cannot guarantee or indemnify that these websites also comply with legal stipulations. Please find out on the relevant website about the respective, valid data protection standards, on the pages with the vendor's data protection declaration.
